Kirkham Club Day

Kirkham Club Day has a long tradition as it dates back over 200 years. On the second Saturday in June the six churches of Kirkham and Wesham come together to process around the streets of Kirkham and Wesham in a witness of faith. It is a long walk but it was wonderful to see so many children from our school taking part and walking as part of The Willows Parish. Everyone involved enjoyed the parade and seeing friends and family on the way around. Fortunately the rain kept away!  Mr Wylde and Mr Sharrock carried one of the four banners and Mrs Barnett, Miss Stedman and Mr McKeown walked with our May Queen Lucy, her cushion bearer Oskar and her retinue. Well done to everyone who took part.
