May is such a beautiful month and it is the month in which we honour Mary, Jesus’ mother. There are many different ways to celebrate and honour Mary during the month of May which include holding a ‘May Procession’ .  Our First Communicant children led our procession at St. Joseph’s Church. We began our service in church and then processed around the grounds following the statue of Mary. Raeya led our procession alongside Theo who carried a special crown of flowers. Once we reached the garden Raeya had the honour of crowning the statue while we all sang special hymns. Many children and families brought some flowers to place by the statue too. It was a special celebration enjoyed by everyone.
