Recently Mrs Spacey and Mrs Barnett took the children from Year 6 who are members of our School Orchestra to Blackpool Tower to listen to the National Youth Orchestra. It was an amazing experience for the children. The event was held in the Tower Ballroom which wowed the children with its beauty. The National Youth Orchestra is made up of 158 teenage musicians from across the nation. The children were fascinated by the range of instruments which included harps and the variety of pieces that the Orchestra played. It truly was an inspiring trip.
