Year 3 celebrated the feast day of Saint Francis by listening carefully to his Canticle of Creation and designing their own stained glass windows based on what they heard.

Saint Francis of Assisi lived a simple life with a passion to help others and to spread the good word of Jesus Christ. His Canticle reminds us that we humans are as dependent on the elements of creation as they are dependent on us. With his marvelous respect for creatures of all kinds, for sun, moon, stars, water, wind, fire and earth, Francis came to see that all creation gives praise to God.

They created some beautiful designs and really thought about the images that they used!
