Year 4 linked their D.T. project this half term to their science learning about electricity. They were given the design brief to make a game that uses electrical components but is concealed within a box structure.Â
The children did lots of market research online to see what is currently available before working in groups of 3 to design and then make their own electrical boardgames. Many of these were a twist on the old ‘beat the buzzer’ games, but many utilised a motor or had MUCH more complex rules! The children did a brilliant job and thoroughly enjoyed testing their products and testing their friends’ games too. The children evaluated their finished product and were very honest, coming up with both good points and areas their product could be improved. Well done Year 4!
