Year 4 have spent the first 2 weeks of their R.E. topic learning about positive character values and the Gospel values. We discussed the Gospel Values, how Jesus taught us these and acted as a role model living these values in his life, then considered how we could live out these values in our own lives.
Year 4 worked together to create a stained glass window, now proudly on display on their classroom window, with the design of a Gospel value picture. The children were very creative, portraying values like forgiveness, love, kindness, forgiveness and gratitude beautifully.
We took this one step further by going outside and using natural resources from Forest School (and lots of apples from Mr. Sharrock’s apple tree) to make outdoor art inspired by Gospel values. As you can see from the pictures, the children did a fantastic job and worked together brilliantly throughout.Â
