On Tuesday 21st January, 19 children from Year 5 and 6 represented The Willows at the Fylde Inter-School Indoor Athletics Competition at Carr Hill High School. The children all took part in 2 track and 2 field events, showcasing their talent with different events in running, jumping and throwing. The children represented our school impeccably in their attitude, behaviour and sportsmanship towards our team and other schools. Everyone had a great time and the atmosphere was buzzing, as you could imagine with over 200 children in a sports hall! Some of our children won their individual events or relay heats, and we managed to come in 6th place overall, which we are all very proud! Well done to all of the children involved!
