Year 5 have been working extremely hard in Science already. We have learnt all about Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton’s experiments around gravity and even did our own version. We dropped a light plastic ball and a heavy 1kg weight and found out that they both fall at exactly the same rate. We investigated the grip on our shoes and found out that Vaughn and Taylor have the grippiest shoes. We used a Newton metre to measure lots of forces and learnt about how the moon’s gravity creates our tides. All that in one week!
