Year 5 Science ISS EVA

Year 5 enjoyed adding to their space topic by watching the astronauts Sunita Williams and Nick Hague carry out the 91st EVA on the International Space Station. An EVA (extra vehicular activity) is the term given to a spacewalk. It was fascinating watching the astronauts moving around outside the ISS as we have been keeping an eye of the ISS daily and listening to the astronauts having conversations with ground control in Houston. We have also been looking out for the ISS passing overhead in the evenings.
