Friday 6 March 2026 6th March News This week Reception have been busy looking at short and long objects in Maths. They have found lots of things to compare alongside building some fabulous towers and bridges to show their understanding. In Drawing Club we have been looking at the tale ‘The Enormous Turnip' learning the meaning of the words; gigantic, heave, persevere and collaborating - ask the children if they can share the meaning of these words with you. In phonics we have really worked hard on the sounds ‘ai' and ‘ee.' The children looked fantastic in their World Book Day costumes and enjoyed taking part in lots of activities especially reading time with their buddies.

Monday 24 November 2025 Year 6 Visit Imperial War Museum North Year 6 visited the Imperial War Museum at Salford Quays on Monday. They enhanced their knowledge of the First and Second World Wars, which they have been learning about in history lessons. All the children were very respectful and enjoyed reading and looking at the artefacts. Their behaviour was excellent and it was a pleasure to accompany them on the visit.
